Apple is readying iOS 26.3.1 for iPhones very soon, following the release of iOS 26.3 two weeks ago, and fixes lingering bugs plus security concerns. This update is expected to do the groundwork before iOS 26.4 makes its debut.

Macrumors revealed that the iPhone maker is testing the new build, with rollout expected next week or two. The iOS 26.3.1 aims to improve battery performance that dropped for some users after the last version. This new update is also expected to improve the Liquid Glass interface and reduce security vulnerabilities.

In the past week, Apple also released iOS 26.4 developer preview. Early access shows new additions in Apple Music, and AI now helps users to create playlists with ease. Albums and playlists are getting fresh designs for a cleaner look, and artist pages display upcoming concerts.

The beta also advances encrypted RCS messages and improves apps like CarPlay and Podcasts. As testing continues into late February, the new features suggest Apple continue to improve iOS 26 with smarter tools.
