Kia release first teaser images of EV3, an affordable EV SUV
Kia has released the first teaser images of its affordable EV3 compact electric vehicle (EV) SUV that will be unveiled later this month.
The images give us a glimpse at the bold, geometric aspects of the front, rear, and side of the EV3 exterior. It highlights the dynamic changes that certain parts with futuristic angular design. That includes the boxy rear fenders and tailgate and the EV3’s signature Star Map lighting, which gives the vehicle a unique identity.

EV3 closely follows the previously released flagship EV9 SUV. It is based on its “Opposites United” design philosophy for continuity throughout the range and models from the company.

Kia aims to broaden EV sales with this new model release with an affordable price point compared to the mid-range EV6 and flagship EV9 models. Despite being an entry-level car, the EV3 is expected to bring all the features and luxury similar to its high-end siblings into a compact size.
“Set to extend Kia’s EV offering and deliver the elevated customer experience from the brand’s flagship models to the compact SUV segment, EV3 will accelerate the global EV transition by providing more accessible solutions for customers considering the switch to electric mobility,” wrote Kia.
