SpaceX Falcon 9 liftoff from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida

On May 23, 2024, SpaceX launched a Starlink satellite deployment mission via Falcon 9 launch vehicle and added more satellites to its constellation orbiting around Earth.

This new launch is the third mission this week and the 11th overall this month. The vehicle lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The payload on the rocket fairing was carrying 23 Starlink satellites.

The weather remained in favor of the liftoff and the rocket flew with all of the thrust that the first stage could provide. Watch the liftoff below.

After stage separation, the first stage landed on a droneship over its landing legs. This was the 13th overall flight for the first stage and previously supported missions including:

  1. Crew-5,
  2. GPS III Space Vehicle 6,
  3. Inmarsat I6-F2,
  4. CRS-28,
  5. Intelsat G-37
  6. NG-20
  7. 7 Starlink missions (including this one)

After an hour of the mission, SpaceX confirmed the deployment on social media site X.
