Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker NIO and GAC Energy have signed a collaboration agreement for charging networks. This partnership will enable both companies to open their charging networks and services for each other’s charging platforms.

The collaboration aims to improve charging services with wider services for customers. This partnership follows the strategic corporation signed last month between NIO and GAC Group.

The collaboration includes battery standards, vehicle research and development and customization, battery asset management and operations, and swapping network development and operations.
