SkyOS will showcase at ‘Nio In 2024’ event on July 27

Electric vehicle (EV) maker Nio has officially organized the “Nio In 2024” event in Shanghai, China to showcase its full-domain operating system SkyOS.

The car company announced this software at NIO IN 2023 in September last year. It is designed for smart electric cars with different layers of technical compatibility with hardware.

It is IoT-friendly and enables users to integrate different devices for collaboration. This vehicle OS will be applied for third-generation NT3 platform vehicles. It supports battery swapping, 800v fast charging tech, and in-house developed batteries.

SkyOS is based on a 1+4+N technology cluster, which covers different sections including vehicle control, smart driving, cockpit, mobile internet, and others.

The software will also ramp up the security and safety of the drive for a better user experience. Other than software, the company will showcase its latest EVs at the event. Visitors can explore these products in person.
