Uber announces Rivian R1S for riders in LA, Miami and Dallas

Uber has announced that the Rivian R1S electric SUV is now available for riders in Los Angeles, Miami, and Dallas expanding this luxurious EV access to all.

Different vehicles are available at these locations including yellow cabs. You can see available ride options via the Uber app, and enter your pickup and dropoff locations.

You can select from taxis and other vehicles up to 4 riders. Room for 6 is available in non-taxi vehicles including Rivian R1S. While ordering a ride via Uber, riders at these locations can select Uber Rivian, which will confirm the price and electric class.

The company has already included Rivian R1S under Uber Business black features for luxury and comfort. However, it’s now available for all riders.
