Tesla acceleration boost upgrade unlocks more power to Model Y

New Tesla Model Y customers have begun seeing an acceleration boost upgrade in their app profile, allowing them to unlock more performance to this electric vehicle (EV).
Acceleration boost for Model Y is available at $2,000, and it will add 100hp to reduce the 0-60mph acceleration time from 4.6 seconds to 4.2 seconds.
The all-wheel driver version comes with 327 miles of EPA estimated range, 125mph top speed and 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds. People who want to add more performance should get this upgrade right away.
According to Tesla, these upgrades are designed to improve your vehicle with a few steps, including new features as well as functionalities that customize the applied model right from the Tesla mobile app.
These upgrades are based on vehicle configurations and will appear via the Tesla app. Interestingly, the user doesn’t need to visit a service center. Instead, you can purchase an upgrade from the app and get the feature right away via over the air software update.
According to the information, the acceleration package for the new Model Y is priced at $2,000. After upgrade, your vehicle will list any installed or available upgrades from the Software tab in your vehicle controls.
To be mentioned, upgrades such as acceleration boost are part of the paid upgrades, these aren’t vehicle’s software updates, which are served free of cost from Tesla.
