A new Tesla vehicle launching tomorrow – Roadster or affordable EV?
Tesla is launching a new electric vehicle (EV) tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7. A teaser of this new vehicle has been shared on the social media site X and shows some cryptic features of the new vehicle.
The first teaser shows a wheel spinning, while gradually increasing its speed. It appears to be more like a fan to manage aerodynamics. A patent regarding this has been recently released by the US PTO. It includes dual operating modes to modify downforce across varying speed ranges and driving conditions. The system comprises multiple fans positioned in airflow pathways and deployable skirts that interact with the ground surface.

The system also consists of a control mechanism to selectively deploy skirts and operate fans based on driving conditions to optimize between maximum downforce at low speeds and improved performance over varying terrain at higher speeds.

The fan showcased on the teaser kind of suits in this patent-like scenario and could be designed for the next-gen Roadster, which Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has been hyping for years. One of the biggest features of this new roadster would be a new design and higher performance. However, its release is due for a long time.
Affordable EV
A second teaser in the series is also published on X, showing a vehicle from the front, throwing its headlights on the front. The headlights are slim and can be compared to the new Model Y. The vehicle is deeply hidden in the dark and cannot be identified.

It’s being speculated that his vehicle could be the new affordable Model Y, but Tesla has not shared any hint at this time. Since this video was published after the wheel/fan video, it could be related to the same product.
It’s Tesla in the discussion, and the new vehicle is launching tomorrow, so there’s not much to wait for.
