Tesla is releasing FSD v14.1.7, skipping from FSD v14.1.5, v14.1.6
Tesla is rolling out Full Self Driving (FSD) v14.1.7 for AI4 vehicles with new improvements, while skipping FSD v14.1.5 and v14.1.6 for non-employee Model S, X, 3, and Y.
The update arrived as Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, reviewed user complaints about FSD v14.1.4 regarding erratic behavior, such as sudden braking and hesitation, described as “schizophrenic” and jarring, but not safety-critical. He confirmed that these issues will be fixed in the FSD 14.2 update, but a release date is still pending.
Here is my first drive on FSD V14.1.7 (with commentary). No interventions the entire drive. Overall, no major issues. It does feel a little smoother than 14.1.4. Mad Max Mode also seems to have a slightly lower top speed on the highway, and drives more comfortably, which is good.… pic.twitter.com/N1AAKXnMWu
