Tesla has launched the Model S and X Signature Edition to mark the end of these two premium electric vehicles (EVs). However, not everyone can buy these new variants; in that case, we’ve prepared this information guide.

What’s new

There are only 250 Tesla Model S and 100 Model X Signature editions that will be built after orders. These are plaid versions with the following specs:

Model S:

  • Range 309 miles EPA
  • Top speed – 200mph
  • Acceleration – 1.99 seconds for 0-60mph

Model X:

  • Range 303 miles EPA
  • Top speed – 163mph
  • Acceleration – 2.5 seconds for 0-60mph

Tesla Model S and X Signature Edition

Both models will come in garnet red paint with matching door handles (on S), which looks good on the exterior. They have a gold Tesla T badge on the front and a gold plaid badge on the rear. The rear also houses a signature badge to commemorate the lineup.

Users will get a white interior with Alcantara and badging, and a gold plaid seat badge with gold piping. The carbon ceramic brakes are available on the Model S with gold calipers. However, the Model X comes with red plaid calipers.

You will see signature branding on the door sills and dash with a unique serial number for each unit. Furthermore, the Model S and Model X will include gold-plaid puddle lights. Interior light has a special sequence for Signature vehicle owners.

Both vehicles bring yoke steering, 21-inch wheels (on Model S), and 22-inch wheels on Model X. Special interior. Furthermore, the key fob resembles the Signature Edition. All of these vehicles come with free four-year premium service, FSD supervised, free supercharging, and a free premium connectivity package included.

Tesla Model S and X Signature Edition Price

These vehicles are priced at $159,420 with an added $1,390 destination fee. Tesla is only selling this vehicle through invites; if you don’t get an email, you can’t buy the Signature series Model S or X.

For now, there’s no information available about the delivery time.

Why is Tesla ending production?

Tesla is ending vehicle production to accelerate its AI and robotics products, especially the Optimus humanoid robot. These production lines will be repurposed to manufacture Optimus robots for high-volume output.

However, the company has promised that both Model X and Model S features will be updated with OTA updates.
