SpaceX successfully launched the Starfall demo vehicle
On June 23, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket accompanied by a Starfall Demo mission, and successfully performed the launch of this next-gen technology. The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
SpaceX says that the Starfall is a new vehicle that will enable affordable, routine access to the microgravity environment for scientific research and in-space manufacturing.
According to the information, the Starfall is a cylindrical-shaped capsule that is 0.75 meters tall and 3.1 meters in diameter. It weighs around 2,100 kg and could carry about 1,000 kg of payload.

The first stage facilitating this launch completed its 20th flight with this mission, and previously supported the following: Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-B, USSF-124, BlueBird 1-5, Nusantara Lima (PSN N5), and 23 Starlink missions.
After stage separation, the vehicle returned to Earth to perform a landing on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean following the final burn.
On the other hand, the Starfall demo vehicle will be making a reentry and splashing down in the Pacific Ocean. However, that will happen later on. So, we’ll keep you posted.
