Tesla readies Cybertruck for a national tour in major Chinese cities

Tesla today confirmed that it’s soon starting the national tour of its Cybertruck electric pickup truck in major Chinese cities.

“Cybertruck is here! The national tour is about to begin. With all S3XY models, we will take you to fully experience the charm of Tesla” Tesla wrote (translated) on its official Weibo account on Tuesday.

However, the company did not disclose a specific date of the tour and the cities from the official handle. Still, Chinese media has some more information that you should know.

It’s reported that the Cybertruck tour in mainland China will start by the end of this month. There could be 8 Chinese cities that will participate in the Cybertruck tour and the vehicle will be showcased at these locations simultaneously including:

  • Shanghai
  • Beijing
  • Shenzhen
  • Chengdu
  • Nanjing
  • Hangzhou
  • Xi’an
  • Chongqing

Tesla has opened the registrations for people who want to attend this tour and the company would decide the launch of this new vehicle based on the registrations.

To prepare, the company has already shipped Cybertruck prototypes to the country, as revealed by the past leaked photographs of the transportation.
