Rivian R2 teaser shows taillights and rear design ahead of Thursday’s launch

Rivian today published a new teaser for the upcoming Rivian R2 electric vehicle (EV) with taillights design ahead of Thursday’s launch event.

The taillights expand for the entire width of the vehicle which is kind of similar to R1T and R1S vehicles. Still, the taillight has split on the end, suggesting a tailgate on the rear.

Still, the vehicle has a slightly different structure and this change becomes obvious from behind. The upper side is compressed and the bottom is wide.

A previous teaser confirmed that stadium headlights and a wide LED bar are also arranged for the front of the Rivian R2.
