Apple is bringing some new changes with iOS 17.4 and the recent public beta of this software revealed a fresh capability for Apple Cash.

Based on the findings of a Reddit user, Apple Cash can now add a virtual card number and use it to pay online when Apple Pay is not available after upgrading to iOS 17.4.

Apple Cash is Apple’s digital card that lives inside the Wallet app and is used to send and receive money from messages from another Wallet. This digital card can be used in stores, online, and in apps with Apple Pay.

It also allows you to add Apple Cash for family members below 18 years old to send them money to spend with their own Apple Cash card.

This new addition with iOS 17.4 will help users from getting stuck during payments. The screenshot shared by the users reads:

“Keep your card information safe with a new security code for every transaction. Easily access this card number in Safari AutoFil and use it to shop online where Apple Pay is not available”.
