Rivian R2 opens reservations with deliveries in 2026

Rivian today unveiled its new R2 electric SUV with a stripped R1S design, improvements as well as optimizations over its predecessor. Reservations for the Rivian R2 are now open with a $100 deposit.

The reservation page consists of contact information to receive updates about the products. It also includes payment details and billing address.

The base model of the Rivian R2 starts at $45,000 and its delivery is estimated to start in the first half of 2026. Once reserved you will receive the latest updates regarding the Rivian R2 and future updates to make the final order.

Currently, there’s no option available to choose the model or any other specifications for R2.
