Polestar opens Tesla Supercharger support in China

Polestar Tesla Supercharger

Polestar announced adapting the Tesla Supercharger network for Polestar electric vehicles in China. The company made this announcement through the Chinese social media site Weibo.

Polestar owners can log in to the Polestar App and locate a Tesla Supercharger to charge at the location. Aside from Weibo, the company hasn’t shared an official press release.

Tesla Charging has revealed there are more than 800 charging stations and over 4,600 charging piles in more than 200 cities across China.

Last year, Ford became the first major automaker to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS), and the company recently rolled out the first charging adapter for F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E buyers.

Rivian also opened support for NACS for R1T and R1S and the company will release free CCS to NACS adapter by Spring this year. Other EV makers including GM and more also announced plans with NACS.
