Tesla introduces Quicksilver Model Y in Japan

Tesla today released a Quicksilver color option for Tesla Model Y in Japan. The company confirmed that this color is available in limited numbers and priced at 269,000 yen (3,225 USD).

The model is available in five existing paints including:

  • Pearl White – Standard
  • Metallic Blue – 126,000 yen
  • Black – 126,000 yen
  • Stealth Gray – 189,000 yen
  • Ultra Red – 269,000 yen

Tesla Model Y in Japan comes in three versions – RWD at 5,637,000 yen. It brings 507 kilometers of driving range. The Model Y Long Range is priced at 6,526,000 yen with a 605 km range. The Performance variant is priced at 7,279,000 with 595 km of range + 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.

Model Y buyers in Japan will get a Clean Energy Vehicle Introduction Promotion Subsidy of up to 850,000 yen. Customers from Tokyo are also able to tap the Tokyo ZEV subsidy of up to 850,000 yen. You can check more information here on the Tesla Japan website
