Hyundai IONIQ 6 N appeared in spy shots with performance upgrades
Hyundai IONIQ 6 N, the performance version, has now appeared in spy photos suggesting new upgrades to improve the car’s speed and aerodynamics.
The pictures (coming from Carscoops) of IONIQ 6 N are captured around the Nurburgring race track and there are few apparent changes at first sight. It uses black alloy wheels with red brake calipers.
There is an optimization made to the rear spoiler for better aerodynamics. Its front and rear side have been covered but much has been revealed already.

IONIQ 6 N maintains its four-door electric sedan look with a sporty exterior with rounded lines. The front has parametric pixel LED headlamps with an adaptive headlight system. The sleek bumper has air flaps to guide airflow into the air intake.
The company has designed a silhouette to deflect air while driving at high speed and range support. The car has a wing-inspired rear spoiler shaped with glass-like, transparent materials and LED lighting.

The rear side comes with Parametric Pixels that wrap around combination lights and on the wing’s high-mounted stop lamps. The doors are featured with flush door handles.
Hyundai says it uses recycled materials to build the car’s interior. That includes recycled PET bottles, fishing nets, plant-based plastic yarns, eco-processed leather with plant-based extracts, and bio paint with paint-based extracts.
The existing IONIQ 6 comes with 53kWh single model two-wheel drive with 18-inch wheels and 429 kilometers of WLTP range.
The two 77.4 kWh single motor 2WD version comes with 18 and 20-inch wheels and 614 kilometer and 545-kilometer WLTP range.
The top two dual motor 77.4 kWh versions offer all-wheel drive with 18 and 20-inch wheels. These two models equip 583 kilometers and 519 kilometers WLTP range respectively.
The latter models brings 326 PS (239 kW) of maximum power with 0-100 km acceleration in 5.1 seconds and 185km top speed.
What’s new in IONIQ 6 N?
Based on the available information, the IONIQ 6 N could ramp up 641 horsepower (478 kW/ 650 PS) for up to 10 seconds with N Grin Boost. This new version could feature an 84 kWh battery pack for improved range and power.
Despite the recent sighting, the new Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has no official launch date but it may unveil next year in Europe and South Korea.
