Upgraded Tesla Model 3 delivery begins in South Korea

Tesla today announced the first delivery of the Upgraded Model 3 in South Korea. The company launched the model earlier this month in this Asian market and now, it is rolling out to customers.

At the launch, Tesla listed two trims – rear-wheel drive (RWD) and Long Range. These two start at 51,990,000 KRW and 59,990,000 KRW respectively.

The RWD version brings a 382-kilometer driving range and 0-100 acceleration in 6.1 seconds. It delivers 201 km/h top speed. The Long Range version on the other hand has an increased 488 kilometer driving range.

You can select from five color paints, four of them are paid and only Pearl White is included in the purchase price. Both RWD and Long Range have 18-inch and 19-inch wheels options. However, the latter costs 1,929,000 KRW.

In terms of design, the UPgraded Tesla Model 3 brings several new upgrades over its predecessor. The headlights are slimmer and have an optimized front silhouette to support aerodynamics.

The EV maker has improved the interior for soundproofing and providing ambient light for a better driving experience. The seats have upgraded materials for more comfort. The speaker count increased to 17 with dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers along with an 8-inch rear passenger display.

Performance:

A few days ago, Tesla unveiled its new Model 3 Performance version. This new car comes with many upgrades over its predecessor. The design is nearly identical to the RWD and Long Range models but the aerodynamics and power are deeply focused in the Performance model.

Model 3 Performance has a front lip, optimized powertrain, and 20-inch warp wheels with a new braking system. The car offers sports seats for a stable ride at high speed. The rear side has a new carbon spoiler and optimized diffuser.

This new Model 3 variant is priced at 67,990,000 KRW.
