Tesla unveils Cybercab robotaxi with unsupervised FSD and wireless charging
Tesla has unveiled its first-ever fully autonomous electric Cybercab robotaxi and it will feature unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology to take the customers anywhere they prefer.
Elon Musk, Tesla CEO announced that the new Cybercab will feature no staring wheel and pedals. It will feature butterfly doors and there will be only two of them.
There’s a rear area to put passenger luggage to carry along with them when they order the Cybercab. The Cybercab could be ordered via mobile just like Uber and Waymo and will share all of the information about the arrival and other details via notification as it arrives to the people who ordered the ride.
The design is seamless from front to rear with a combination of Model 3 and Cybertruck with the prompted silver color.
Interstingly, the Cybercab also supports inductive charging and it can charge autonomously by driving over an inductive charging station and charging itself. In the meantime, autonomous robots will conduct cleaning and perform maintenance.
