Tesla recorded 1 crash for every 5.94 million miles on autopilot technology: Q4 2024 safety report

Tesla has released its Q4 2024 vehicle safety report, recording one crash for every 5.94 million miles driven in which drivers were using Autopilot technology.

The company has also revealed that the drivers who were not using Autopilot technology were recorded with one crash for every 1.08 million miles driven.

Most recent data from NHTSA and FHWA shows that an automobile crash occurred every 702,000 miles. Read more about the report here.
