xAI announces Grok AI Android app

Generative AI firm xAI has announced a standalone Grok app for the Android platform, allowing users to interact with this generative AI model from their smartphones.
In December, xAI launched a standalone iOS app and subsequently, it was rolled out for all iPhone users across. At that time, the company didn’t announce an Android release but it’s now here.
Grok is a large language model (LLM) powered generative AI chatbot, it was initially announced for X users in December 2023. Through last year, the company has made many upgrades to its features.
It provides fast responses with improved understanding. You can upload images and get an analysis, same goes for PDFs and sketches. Furthermore, you can generate images based on a description.
The app has a separate user interface, you can type in a question or request to draw images. The app will also suggest remixes for your prompts.
Similar to the web version, you can also upload images and other supported files to get a detailed analysis. Its search results are more broader than before, it includes web article links as well as X posts. You can tap on them and redirect them to verify the sources.
