SpaceX Starship Stacked on the Launch Mount at Starbase, Texas

SpaceX has stacked the Starship on top of the Super Heavy booster ahead of Flight 8 at the Starbase Texas. The company has used the launch tower to lift the ship from the transportation vehicle and place it over the booster for a stacking process.

The company is targeting this launch on Monday, March 3, 2025, and the liftoff window will open at 5:30 p.m. CT. The company could change the launch based on weather and other mission preparations.

An integrated Starship is 123 meters tall and 9 meters wide, it has a payload capacity of 100-150 tons. The rocket is designed to send cargo and human passengers to space.

Both stages are reusable and could land on the launch site. However, SpaceX is currently testing the first and second stages to increase their launch and landing reliability.
