After Starship 40, SpaceX quickly puts Ship 41 on the test stand
SpaceX has rolled out Ship 41 to Massey’s output earlier today and performed a Cryogenic proof test to prepare for flight.
This test includes filling the Starship’s tank with super-cold propellants to verify structural strength, spot leaks, and check performance under extremely low temperatures and pressures.
This was the first cryo test for Ship 41, which is a key pre-flight milestone. Now the ship is ready to expand the scope of pre-flight testing, such as static fire – both single and all-engine as well as stacking on top of the Super Heavy booster.

A few days ago, SpaceX cleared the Starship 40 after a full-duration Raptor 3 engine burn at the Massey’s test site. The test was successful, and the company rolled back the ship to the factory. It might return to test the all-engine Raptor 3 static fire.
Meanwhile, SpaceX is also testing the water deluge system for launch pad 2 at Starbase. The system allows the engineers to deflect the ground force on the pad during liftoff.
Ship 40 is designed to be used wth the Straship Flight 13, and if this model survives the rest of the test campaign, Ship 41 will be promoted to Flight 14.
