Grok will bring real-time information for voice mode

Grok app’s voice mode get new real-time information capability to reply to user’s asked query, which cannot be done with the current version.

Last month, xAI released Grok 3, its latest and the most powerful model and also announced soon to be releasing Grok voice. A voice to voice conversation in natural language. It has male and female voices.

This capability is part of Grok’s iOS app, and xAI is also working on an Android version to provide the capability for more users.

The voice mode has over dozens of personalities, including:

  • Assistant
  • Storyteller
  • Kids Story Time
  • Kids Trivia Game
  • Meditation
  • Conspiracy
  • Not a Therapist
  • Not a Doctor
  • Unhinged
  • Motivation
  • Romantic
  • Argumentative

The real-time information is available with text-to-text conversation, but it’s not available via voice replies.

According to Tech Dev Notes, this update will label personalities with real-time information with a light/power icon, as shown below.
