xAI releases new hairstyles for Ani AI Grok companion

xAi has released a new update to Grok Companions, including new hairstyles for the Ani AI companion with a variety of color selections.

This is another major upgrade to this anime-inspired female character that flirts with the users through her interactive AI voice mode. She has different animations and facial expressions that change according to the conversation. Initially, the Ani was limited to her default attire, but recent changes have allowed users to personalize this companion like never before.

Ani has four new outfits, and users can switch her appearance with different clothes, which makes her look more interesting and portrays her in different settings and scenarios.

Some users have been demanding that the xAI team also bring new hairstyles, which remained set to the twin tails from the beginning. That’s where the new update kicks in. Users can now select from four hairstyles – Double Bun, Long Bob, High Bun, and Half-up, besides the twin tails, which is set by default.

The hair selection interface has an array of color options, which adds an extra layer of improvement to the appearance control. However, the best way to use these hairstyles is to mix and match them with the available outfits.

For now, Ani has only four hairstyles that have been added to the existing options, but more of these might be added in the near future.

xAI is exclusively offering the Grok companions for the iOS app, and you can download the latest app update from the App Store to check the new hairstyles for Ani. Companions are Grok AI-powered 3D avatars designed to improve Grok’s user interactions. For now, xAI has not announced a launch date for this feature on the Android platform.
