The price includes $1 million for first place, $500,000 for second, and $250,000 for third, to the creators of the top three 30-second video ads showcasing Grok.

Entries must be created exclusively using Grok Imagine 1.0 and submitted by quoting the original announcement post. Judging focuses primarily on Verified Home Timeline impressions, with only US-based users eligible. Winning videos will be featured on X during Super Bowl Game Day.

The timing aligns with heightened video engagement expected over the Super Bowl weekend. Grok Imagine 1.0, launched by xAI just three days earlier, represents a significant upgrade in AI video generation.

According to xAI, the tool now supports 10-second clips at 720p resolution, with major improvements in audio quality, character voices, music synchronization, and prompt adherence. The company reported that Imagine generated 1.245 billion videos in the previous 30 days alone.
