X users can now turn images into videos using Grok Imagine

xAI has deepened Grok’s integration to the X social media platform with a new feature that allows users to turn any of their home feed images into videos.

A new X app update has brought this feature, and you have to press and hold on an image to make a video out of it using Grok’s Imagine video generation model.

Once initiated, the X app will redirect users to the Grok app and start generating the video based on the selected image. For now, this feature is only available to the X iOS app and requires the Grok app to complete the video generation. After completing the process, you can share it back to the social media site with the on-screen button.

Imagine is currently available for free for all X and Grok users. You can also generate images and videos using custom commands within the Grok app.
