OpenAI Sora App

OpenAI has officially announced that its Sora app no longer requires you to get an invite code to use and generate videos.

The company has confirmed that the Sora app without an invite code is limited to the US, Canada, Japan, and Korea. However, this change is only available for a limited time, but a specific expiry date is not announced

The Sora app is a new social iOS app that enables you to create and remix videos generated with the Sora 2 AI model. Users can do this the usual way with a prompt, describing the videos. The most important upgrade of the Sora 2 model over its predecessor is the improved accuracy of video generation and the new audio and voiceovers.

Recently, the Sora 2 model received a new update. All users can now generate videos up to 15 seconds on the app and web, while Pro subscribers will gain a 25-second video on the web.

Meanwhile, OpenAI is also preparing to lauch Sora app on Android platform, and its pre-registration is already live on Google’s Play Store. However, a launch date is pending.
