Rivian has revealed its new R3X electric vehicle with a tri-motor performance over the single and dual-motor R3. It carries a hatch-style design to maximize space and bring a sporty look.

This car is using a scaled-down Rivian R2 platform but with similar features. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds with that motor capability. The car will also have a 300-mile driving range to support its rally racing performance.

The design of the car is distinctive and provides it a different look than other Rivian vehicles including R2, R1s, and R1T. The size is another form factor that is reduced to fit in any traffic or scenario.

Rivian R3 and Rivian R3X will be available after the deliveries of Rivian R2 in 2026. The company confirmed that the price of the Rivian R3X will be lower than the R2 which starts at $45,000.
