Fisker EVs gets up to 50% price reduction in the U.S.
Fisker has announced a massive reduction in price for its 2023 models of electric vehicles (EVs) by up to 40-50% based across the U.S. The latest move from the EV maker comes amid financial uncertainties which continue to grow.
The 2023 Ocean Extreme trim is reduced by $24,000 and the new price is $37,499 from $61,449 MSRP. The 2023 Ultra trim will be priced at $34,999 MSRP which is reduced from the current $52,999.
The 2023 Sport version is priced at $24,999 MSRP reduced from $38,999.
All of these models are now packed with Fisker 2024 Ocean OS software version 2.0 bringing new features out of the box. Some of these models have $7,000 worth of additional equipment including 22-inch wheels, colors, interiors, and other options.
MRSP reduction on the 2023 model-year vehicle will start on March 29, 2024.
Fisker says it is currently working on making the Ocean SUV a more affordable EV choice and competitive compared to the other options in the market.
The company also says it is improving software updates, services, customer support, and easy purchase process through dealers.
Fisker Ocean Extreme delivers an EPA-estimated range of 360 miles in the U.S. and a WLTP range of 439 miles (707 km) in Europe. It also has integrated rooftop solar panels that could add up to 1,500 miles (2400 km) per year of range.
