Rivian posts first quarter 2024 production and delivery figures

Electric vehicle maker Rivian today shared the production and delivery figures for the first quarter of 2024 with year-over-year improvements.

It is revealed that Rivian produced 13,980 vehicles at its Normal Illinois manufacturing factory and delivered 13,588 vehicles in the first quarter. The production and delivery data are recorded until March 31, 2024.

The EV maker says it has been expecting such results for the first quarter and it is still looking to produce 57,000 total vehicles by this year.

During the same quarter in 2023, Rivian posted 9,395 units of production and 7,946 vehicles delivery. The figure confirms the YoY increment in both deliveries and production rates.

Rivian says it will share the first quarter 2024 financial results on May 7 and an audio webcast will be hosted at 5:00 p.m. ET on the same day.
