The job location is posted for Mumbai suburban in the state of Maharastra. This state was previously reported as the center of setting up a factory in the country but no confirmation was made due to the complexity of the conversation between Tesla and the Indian government.

To be clear, these posts aren’t for technicians and engineers and most of them belong to either service providers or customer support. That means these could be related to setting up the business in India rather than setting up a manufacturing facility.

However, we’ll have to wait for the official plans. Check the full details about the jobs and posting on the Tesla hiring page here.
