SpaceX completes the first Falcon 9 offshore landing in the Bahamas

Today, SpaceX created history by launching a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida and landing the first stage off the coast of The Bahamas.
The rocket maker conducted this launch at 6:21 p.m. ET from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
This was the 16th overall flight for the first stage booster, which separated from the first stage to forward the mission with 23 Starlink satellites payload to low-Earth orbit.
The landing comes exactly one year after SpaceX and the Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation (MOTIA) signed a letter of agreement to land Falcon 9 booster in the country.
Since then, SpaceX has been planning an autonomous booster landing trajectory. This agreement aims to boost space tourism in the country.

Not only that SpaceX plans to create space installations or exhibits to showcase recognizable hardware and a SpaceX spacesuit.
“This is the first time that a rocket has taken off from one country, gone to space and landed in another country” said SpaceX Founder and CEO, Elon Musk after launch.
This new landing site will enable the rocket maker to launch into optimal trajectories from Florida and maximize the overall flight performance for new missions.
“Landing off the coast of the Bahamas will help us continue to launch to unique orbits, including for our upcoming Fram2 mission which is set to be the first human spaceflight mission in the history to orbit directly over the poles. And the first SpaceX mission to conduct human exploration of the Earth’s polar regions from space.” said Ronnie Foreman, a SpaceX senior sales manager during the launch forecast.
