Perplexity launches new voice mode for iOS, coming soon for Android and Mac

Generative AI firm – Perplexity has announced a new voice mode for its iOS app, allowing you to ask for real-time answers with natural conversation.

First, you need to download the latest app version from the App Store and open it to see the home screen. There you will see a waveform button within the prompt bar.

You can now ask the AI to answer your question, followed by the answer. You can follow up with another question as soon as the AI finishes answering the prior question.

You can interrupt the AI with the microphone button on the right side of the screen. Other than English, the app also supports multi-language answers.

Currently, Perplexity voice feature is only available for iOS users and the app is coming soon to Android and Mac platforms.
