Tesla to submit a bid to provide EVs for top Israeli state officials

Israel has asked Tesla to submit a bid on a tender to ship electric vehicles (EVs) for top Israeli state officials in the wake of a boycott moment in the US.
“We aren’t going to bow to woke trends. Teslas are great cars, and we look forward to studying their bid” said a senior Israel government official in a statement to JNS on Thursday.
Arson attack and vandalism against Tesla has increased in the US since the start of 2025. Its dealership, stores, charging stations and owners are being targeted by activities and protesters.
Earlier this year, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk took the top spot in the President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is aims to cut federal funding by removing unnecessary budget spendings and workforce.
Recently, President Trump has purchased a new Model S electric vehicle (EV) in support to Musk in the face of growing attacks.

Earlier this year, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Tesla CEO when he was falsely labeled for a gesture to the audience at Trump’s Presidential ceremony.
“Elon is a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7, massacre in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust,” He expressed in a X post.
For now, no further details are revealed about this bid or when it will be announced.
