xAI Grok web gets a redesign with Google like search bar
xAI is rolling out a sleek redesign for the Grok web platform, bringing a more simplified approach to increase visibility and reduce distractions created by on-screen options.
The new design is rolling out on grok.com and has a main prompt bar with unified options. It appears more like Google’s search bar. The AI is rapidly upgrading Grok to provide better real-time information, so users can search and get news-like results instantly. The search bar already supports auto-complete suggestions for new inputs, which the user can click and jump to results.
Speaking of results, the Grok team has turned its result queries into a full-blown web search for users. This creates content combining the internet and the X social media platform. The Grok 4 Fast is even better; it can search through X posts and the internet faster than Grok 4.

The prompt bar has an update button on the left, prompt input with a text label, Grok model selector, and voice mode. The highlighted features, such as DeepSearch, Image generation, Latest News, and Personas, remain at the bottom. However, toning down the prompt bar has improved the overall outlook.
