SpaceX Falcon 9 booster landing in Bahamian waters

On March 30, 2026, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with Starlink satellites and achieved a major milestone in the launch campaign with the first-stage booster completing its 34th launch and landing.

The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The payload carried 29 Starlink satellites and deployed them into low-Earth orbit.

This is not just a mere number; the company continues to improve the reusability of its Falcon 9 boosters, which is a key factor in increasing space launch return. Prior to this mission, SpaceX launched 33 flights, including the following:

  • CRS-22,
  • Crew-3
  • Turksat 5B,
  • Crew-4
  • CRS-25,
  • Eutelsat HORBIRD 13G,
  • SES 03B mPOWER-A
  • PSN SATRIA,
  • Telkomsat Merah Putih 2,
  • Galileo L13,
  • Koreasat-6A,
  • and 22 Starlink missions.

After sending the second stage to space, the first stage separated and landed on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean following landing engine ignition.

This achievement comes a day after SpaceX confirmed a Starlink satellite anomaly during its on-orbit operation. The root cause of the anomaly is unknown, but there’s more to know about this matter.
