xAI rolls out Grok Imagine feature for Android users

AI company xAI has released the Imagine feature for Grok users on the Android platform, enabling its latest video generation model to an extended user base, but with a catch.

Initially, Imagine is only available for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers. The company has already announced that Grok 4 Heavy users will be prioritized for getting new features first. Based on the rollout for iOS users, this release for SuperGrok and Premium+ subscribers could also come in a week or two.

The Imagine feature is available with Grok Android app update version 1.0.20. If you have a required subscription, download the latest version from the Play Store and navigate to the Imagine tab from the top of the home screen.

You can type in a prompt through the text input and wait for the chatbot to come up with four variations of the result.
