4 new EV chargers coming to Linslade Memorial Play Field, UK

UK’s Linslade Memorial Play Field and Garden of Remembrance has announced a partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council to install 4 electric vehicle (EV) chargers across 8 parking bays in the car park.

“This week works are starting to install electric vehicle charging points in the car park at Linsalade Memorial Playing Field, Mentmore Road.” Wrote Leighton-Linslade TC on social media X, formerly known as Twitter.

These new charging points will provide better EV infrastructure without off-street charging capability. The management is currently discussing parking capacity and duration.

Linslade Memorial Playing is located on Mentmore Road, Linslade. It’s a large open space that links to the Grand Union Canal in the U.K. The Park has a pavilion which is used for events and clubs and is also available for private hire.
