Rivian is offering priority R2 delivery for new R1 buyers

Rivian has announced a unique offer for buyers looking to fetch the newly announced Rivian R2. According to the EV maker, if you get an R1S or R1T vehicle, you will receive priority delivery of R2.

Customers can choose available configurations of R1S and R1T that typically deliver in 1-4 weeks.

Earlier this month, Rivian revealed a new mid-sized electric SUV R2 at a starting price of $45,000 and it will start to ship in the first half of 2026.

That means you first need to buy a R1S or R1T that costs around $80,000. Then you can get R2 when the model is released two years later.
