New Tesla Model Y

Tesla has started sending delivery tasks notification for new Model Y Launch Series customers, confirming that the delivery date is near for their new electric vehicle (EV). These customers have shared the screenshots on social media site X with estimated delivery dates between February 21 to March 21, 2025.

According to Tesla’s official website, the Model Y Launch Series will begin deliveries in March. Giving an early delivery date in February would be a good experience for buyers.

Tesla has redesigned this new Model Y with a facelift and front lightbar above the headlights. The company has optimized the driving experience with quieter room and better suspension. The rear side has a cross-car lamp with an indirect reflective body panel.

The interior has some new changes including better seats with heating and ventilation. The deck has ambient lighting wrapped from the front to rear doors. The passenger row has an 8-inch screen with separate climate control and entertainment.

The new Model Y is priced at $59,990 in the US and it’s listed alongside the previous Model Y on the configurator. The price reflects the Launch Series, a limited edition to mark the start of the production. However, you can still claim a $7,500 federal tax credit and a $1,000 discount via a referral link during payment.

The Launch Series only has an all-wheel drive long range with 320 miles EPA range, 125 miles top speed, and 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.1 seconds. The price for this vehicle includes four colors and all of them are free.

You can choose between 19-inch crossflow and 20-inch helix wheels without paying anything extra. Interstingly, Tesla is also giving away Full Self Driving (FSD) within this package.

The company has started producing the new Model Y in all of its factories and we may soon soo a non-Lanch Series version of this EV with low prices.

As a reminder, do check the Tesla app to see your tasks notification to avoid the new Model Y delivery.
