Grok Imagine feature for Android coming soon
xAI has officially confirmed that the Imagine feature is coming very soon to the Grok Android app, bringing this video generation capability to more users.
Imagine enables users to create AI-powered videos. You can only generate short videos of a few seconds, but a big upgrade will expand this length to a minute or more. It support both text and voice; you can use any of these inputs to feed your instructions and generate desired video content.
The user feedback reveals that the video generation is quite fast and provides a better experience. However, it needs some more improvement to increase the rendering and quality.
The generated results will show on the screen in four variations, each with a different background sound, with a live preview. A user can also redo the video generation at any time with the on-screen button.

People who want more can see an infinite gallery of images actively generating with each scroll, with video descriptions.
The feature was initially introduced for iOS users and available behind the waitlist, while SuperGrok Heavy subscribers got their first unhindered access. The AI company also expanded this experience to SuperGrok and Premium+ subscription holders on iOS.
Due to the slow speed of Android developments, this user base is still waiting to unleash their thoughts with Imagine. However, a similar approach has been seen throughout the development and testing of the Grok companion AI animated avatar launch.
The company has confirmed that the wait won’t be too long, as the feature is almost ready to ship for Android within a few days. So, we can expect Grok Imagine for Android to rollout within a week or the following if the testing gets delayed.
