SpaceX to launch Starship Flight 11 in early October
SpaceX could launch the Starship Flight Test 11 in early October to mark another major rocket liftoff from Starbase, Texas, as revealed in the US Navigation Center’s maritime notice.
The notice mentioned the launch operation schedule beginning from October 6, 2025, between 6:15 pm and 8:22 pm CT, on October 7. This is followed by back-up launch opportunities for October 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13th. This launch window allows SpaceX to see the rocket launch in the sunlight, get a clear view of the descent, and the ship’s splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
Ship 38 and a Super Heavy booster have already conducted a static fire test on the launch pad and have been sent back to the factory for final preparations. The next step would be to conduct a few more tests or to stack them right away on the orbital launch pad.
For the past two flights, SpaceX has not caught the booster due to some important experiments regarding its fuel efficiency and landing maneuvers. And it’s still uncertain whether the company will attempt this move with this flight. On the other hand, the focus on the second stage would be to save the tiles from breaking apart during reentry.
Starship test flight 11 is scheduled to launch as soon as Monday October 6th between 6:15 pm and 8:22 pm central time according to an official U.S. Coast Guard hazard notice posted today.
